Faculty Council

The Klein College of Science Faculty Council serves as a representative body elected from across the College’s four academic departments, working to advance the professional, scholarly, and community interests of KCOS faculty. In addition to fostering communication, collaboration, and shared governance within the College, the Council plays an active role in university‑wide service by participating on key committees, contributing to institutional decision‑making, and ensuring that the perspectives of Klein College faculty are reflected across UNC Charlotte. Through this work, the Faculty Council strengthens the academic mission of the College and supports a vibrant and engaged faculty community.
